To keep your Maia Mum Pregnancy Compression Socks soft, supportive, and long-lasting:
- Cold machine wash on a gentle cycle
- Use a wash bag to protect the fabric
- Line dry only
- Do not tumble dry, bleach, or iron
- Avoid fabric softeners, as they can affect compression
Handle with care so they can keep taking care of you.

1 Pair of Compression Socks
Always ensure your compression socks fit comfortably and are not overly tight. If you experience numbness, tingling, increased discomfort, or changes in skin colour, remove them immediately.
Compression socks should not be worn over broken, irritated, or infected skin.
As every pregnancy is different, we recommend checking with your midwife or healthcare provider before using compression garments — especially if you have circulation concerns or existing medical conditions.
Designed for gentle, everyday support — never for medical treatment or diagnosis.
Our Maia Mum Pregnancy Compression Socks are designed to stretch comfortably while giving you the support you need. Choose your usual shoe size:

HOW TO WEAR
You can wear compression socks throughout the day, especially during times when swelling, heaviness, or tired legs are more noticeable — like when you’re on your feet for long periods, sitting at a desk, travelling, or during late pregnancy.
Most mums-to-be find it helpful to:
- Put them on in the morning (before swelling starts)
- Wear them during the day as needed
- Take them off before bed, unless your midwife or healthcare provider gives different advice
Every pregnancy is different, so if you’re unsure or have circulation concerns, varicose veins, or existing medical conditions, always check with your midwife or healthcare provider for personalised guidance.
In most cases, compression socks are not recommended to be worn while sleeping. When you’re lying down, your body doesn’t have to fight gravity in the same way, so the extra pressure usually isn’t needed — and wearing them overnight can sometimes cause discomfort.
However, every pregnancy and every body is different. If you’ve been advised by your midwife or healthcare provider to wear them overnight for a specific reason, follow their guidance.
General rule:
✔ Wear them during the day
✘ Take them off before bed (unless medically advised)
When in doubt, always check with your midwife to make sure it’s right for you.
